Proud moment for Kisumu Mr. Niyam Shah for being elected as a trustee of H.C.K. (Whole of Kenya)May 30, 2021
Hindu Council of Kenya, Kisumu branch Senior Welfare and Cultural Committee organized a Rangoli Competition / Display on 30th October 2021 at SSHU hall, Kisumu.
We had 21 entries from Category 1 (age group 8-12 ) yrs
11 entries from category 2
(Age group 13-18 yrs)
7 entries from category 3
The opening ceremony was held on Sunday 31st October, 2021 at 5.30 pm.
The ceremony was inaugurated with Diya lighting and prayers
Prizes and tokens were awarded out during the ceremony.
The opening of the hall was done by Mr. Manjit Singh of Ndugu transporters.
People were stunned when they saw a colorful painted floor full of rangolis that were beautifully accessorized with diyas.
The hard work and talent of the participants shone through their eye catching Rangolis, which were neat, colorful and very well done. Congratulations to all the participants.
A huge pat on the back for my team and the volunteers for working tirelessly to make this a super successful event.
After 2 sad years, we could bring the Diwali spirit back.
